“A Deep Dive into Mental Well Being “ is a 2-1/2 day program that introduces an exciting health paradigm in working with individuals, families, couples, and organizations. This is a shift in perspective from more traditional psychological approaches, and focuses on how the human experience is manifested and how change happens within people. We will address the source and nature of personal problems and how understanding basic principles will help people to move beyond their past and conditioning.
This exploration into innate mental well-being and the power of thought and consciousness to create experience will be presented by Christine Heath, LMFT, CSAC, MAC, Executive Director of the Hawaii Counseling & Education Center, and Judith Sedgeman, EdD, a Managing Director of Sedgeman Consulting, LLC. The weekend is designed to guide participants towards an understanding of the principles that will help you change the approach to your work. Looking at people as healthy provides a refreshing direction for the therapeutic relationship and it can transform you and your work from stressful to insightful and inspiring even after many years of practice.
This is an online conference, so you can relax in your favorite chair and start to slow down as you connect to your own healthy state of mind. Most of us in healthcare have been working really hard recently and this will provide you with an opportunity to connect with your own mental well being, as well as start to see how to help others in a manner that does not produce a side effect of stress and burn out.
